The very first release of Trip Fuel, which will be launched as a Double A-Side Cassette Tape by Wild Records..

摇滚乐是燃料，效果器是飞行器，少年们在失真轰鸣里飞驰。

就像他们喜爱的The Smashing Pumpkins、Radiohead、Blond Redhead等乐队，Trip Fuel的音乐似乎无法简单归类，而是有着光与影般两个极端的体现：令人心碎的优美旋律与巨大吉他轰鸣和谐共存，再点缀以巧妙的节奏切分，情绪强烈起伏。从90s年代后摇的实验与探索中汲取养分，TF不拘一格的编曲听起来流动性极强，带给人灵动自由的感觉。单曲Let's Catch The Sun Within 44 Beats And Fxxk It曾被收录于2017年草台回声发行的数学摇滚合辑《Nerd Noise Ⅱ》中。

几经成员更迭，Tirp Fuel最终确定了目前的四人编制阵容：作为乐队视觉美学担当的插画师贝斯手小周和鼓手阵雨是初始成员，在加入了大熊和左美陈后形成了稳定的乐队班底。从澳洲游学归来的主唱&吉他左美陈，他的上一个乐队是在墨尔本读书期间组建的Lennox（关于这支前乐队还有个好玩的事实：鼓手是现Manic Ship和落差草原的小白，贝斯则是电音制作人sususu。短命乐队Lennox的一首单曲也被收入了合辑《Nerd Noise Ⅱ》）。Trip Fuel全员看上去都是充满内敛气质的nerd，但正是这群貌似木讷的nerd能够用震撼的音乐带你起飞遨游。

在Trip Fuel乐队的正式EP发行之前，这个6月将先以磁带形式公布双面单曲A Low Attitude Flow和Die Die Die Die。先行版双面单曲封面是一架模糊的飞机，乐队对于“飞行”意象的迷恋可见一斑。

你喜欢跟随错落有致的吉他riff和律动贝斯线抖腿吗？急停骤起的活泼跳跃感被飘渺的人声所平衡，这是一首数学摇滚爱好者的良药。

-Die Die Die Die
下行的和声走向仿若划过天际的坠落流星。与此同时，缓慢攀升的情绪在逐渐失真的音墙中戛然而止。优雅而克制。

2018年9月，Trip Fuel即将在野生唱片发行第一张正式EP《Departure》。让我们一起搭乘这飞向未知领域的神秘航班，将沿途风景制作成标本放进记忆收纳，再次打开时它们都将化茧成蝶。
